Dec. 1st, 2006 04:49 pmLast night was an exercise in how not to make our lives easy but then I guess we live for a challenge.
Having rushed from Bristol to get there in time for the sound check, a situation that always stresses me which is not something to do when stress makes you play too fast! :-o I then found we where doing songs we hadn't practised....
Next we had to go on first (a full hour before expecting to) because someone was missing....
Oh well on the plus side I think we got away with it and people said nice things. As a certain bass player said "People said nice things and if we thought we could do better imagine what they will say when we get it really right!"

ceinwyn77 came to the gig. I hope she wasn't too disappointed.
Anyway hopefully I am now off to the movies to blow away the weeks cobwebs and then I have some horse riding planned for Sunday which is always a good thing TM!

None of this was a complaint it was just commentary on how things felt to me on reflection and as usually I am crap at saying what I wanted to say. At the time I wasn't really aware of these feelings and I just got on with things. Oh well.
