Oopse its been a while
Apr. 18th, 2009 06:30 pmIts been quite a while since I posted. Its been busy and lots of things happening I just haven't got round to posting about it.
My parents came to visit last weekend and I think it was a good time for all.
I took Tuesday and Wednesday off to finish off preparations which included taking two loads of my neighbours stuff to the tip as well as getting rid of the nasty kiddie swings in my back garden.
Wednesday I drove to the airport to pick up my folks.
Thursday we went to Bristol, had a lovely lunch at the Bordeaux Quay in Bristol and then we went to the SS Great Briton which Dad and I found fascinating but I think it wasn't quite so interesting for Mum. (Sorry Mum)
Thursday night I picked Margaret up from Bristol Airport (trip the first) and then home to crack open the Champagne and a nice relax.
Good Friday we went to my Uncle John and Auntie Fiona's for a lovely meal. We had Pigeon breast for starters, yummo, then we had a whole Salmon for main, followed by cheese and then a desert which I don't remember exactly but I know it was wonderful.
Saturday was Bath and the Bath Priory Hotel which I bloged about separately.
Sunday I dropped Mum and Dad to Bristol airport (trip the second) and then home for a relaxing day. We had a yummy Roast Chicken for dinner and then Monday apart from going out to the pub we had another relaxing day. Tuesday Morning it was back to the airport to drop Margaret back to the airport (trip the third) fortunately it was early enough to avoid the traffic.
This week has been quite boring with work except for yesterday which was a riding lesson with some awesome jumping and then today where I went to a Cavalry of St George Practise.
So going forward I am now car shopping (the Peugeot is getting a bit long in the tooth) I am looking at either a few year old Peugeot 407 SW or an Audi A4 or Jaguar X-Type Estate all with Diesel engines of course. Any thoughts anyone?
I also have the lovely
