Explosive Evening.

Well tonight was interesting and not in a good way.

I got home and had just turned on the halogen lamp in my living room. I have one because the room has no main light and can get a bit dark in there.

Anyway after a few minutes there was an almighty bang and a shower of fragments from the bulb. Fortunately most of them where caught by the glass cover but some must have shot out as I felt one bit brush past me but most scarily when I went over to turn out the lamp I around and saw that my favourite sweater was on fire with a blue flame.

ARGGGGH.....

I managed to put it out but wow that scared me. What if I hadn't been there or if what ever started the fire had hit me or the cat or something more flammable like the box of books it just missed! What..... I know you can't think like that but it genuinely freaked me out.
