Hard riding lesson

Well that was interesting really. Those of you with good memories will remember that I managed to fall off a horse not long ago approaching a jump well this afternoon was my first time back on that horse since then.

I think it went really well. My instructor was pleased as she said she hadn't seen her going so well in ages and I even got her to walk fast, trot nicely and even if one of my canters was on the wrong leg the rest of them were nice.

When we came to the jumping well it was hard work but at least this time she didn't shy away from the jump even if getting her on target was hard work.

So I think it was a good job of work and it seems to me my riding is getting better.
